I take it your dog doesn't like vegetables?
oh actually, he eats the stem of the broccoli and he loves a nibble on a corn cob! The bare patches in the garden are where he likes to sit...much to my sadness at the decimated seedlings I discover an a regular basis!
Ooooooh...what a great garden space! You are making me want to do a vegie garden again.....
