Fresh Figs For Free!

ohh la la....my mum brought around some fresh figs from her neighbours tree! She doesnt like them, so I got to eat them all....YEAH!
I have halved them here, and piped on some mascarpone that is flavoured lightly with rosewater and a touch of icing sugar(powdered sugar). I then crumbled some ameretti biscuits on top for crunch!

I have never tasted figs other than in a Fig Newton cookie. I wouldn't know what to do with them. This plate full is pretty as a painting. They look inticing.

Yum, I love figs with a cheese plate or grilled and drizzled in honey. Thanks for your comments on my blog. You're too kind.
