I tried some embroidery! I bought this divine piece of linen and was feeling creative. A simple design, but my first, so I am happy. I had alot of trouble with the zipper though! My machine did not come with a zipper foot, and I had no idea what I was doing. I have since borrowed a book from the library on the basics of sewing...so hold on to your hats!

i've heard that zips are hellish to sew on/into something. so well done you, and i like it a lot.
