I know a boy whose mother chooses to exploit a developing countries' economy and live over seas with out him. She justifies it by believing she is saving for his trust fund. He is left with his Dad's wife for days and nights while his Dad goes to work. His trust fund will help pay for all the therapy he is going to need. They blame his Dads wife for his unhappiness, because he cant tell the people whom he loves the most how angry he is with them. He can hardly
contain his sadness. His Dads wife can hardly
contain her anger at the situation.

That's so sad and an interesting interpretation. You have illustrated it well.
That's a lot of contained emotion. His body language says it all.
yes its it so sad. I dont like the clothes line, but otherwise I am happy with this illo. Thanks!
the illustration of the boy really captures a sad, dejected and lonely mood. was the distance between the woman at the cloths line and the boy in the illustration reflecting his emotional isolation?
