Having a new baby means I dont get as much time to go swimming as i used to, but today while my husband pushed the sleeping little one around in the pram, I got the chance to have a luxurious and delicious swim in the local ocean pool. I saw the wonderful green and blue colours of the salty ocean as I dove under the water over and over. I especially love to swim to the end of the pool and lean on the edge and look out to the horizon. The warmth from the concrete seeping into my arms, and the people free expanse of the ocean is divine. I float away on the dream of summer and feel some peace and serenity for a moment....ahhhhhhhhh! This is a pastel I did inspired by today, and by the theme "play" from creative everyday
