Softies

To Mr Messyfish... (who is reading this in India somewhere), as I explained to you on the phone I would like you to buy some materials for me so I can make "softies". These pictures are from a book called "softies". As you can see the patterned material used in most of them are traditional, country, quilting or vintage (as in old school). I DO NOT LIKE IT! I will use similar designs as seen in the book, and I like the idea of mismatched fabrics as seen in the book, but i am not fond of the 'country" look. The designs are very silly and odd, but the materials used are very sensible and conservative.
INSTEAD I want to use BRIGHT, CLASHING cloth from India. You know I like pink, red, orange and yellow together...so I am sure you will choose well now that you can see what I am talking about. Cotton is good. Strong Materials are good! Thanks! I love you XXX
PS These are not for baby Messyfish, so no need to think "boy" colours.

yes soul brush... i think so. it feels good to call him that, because i am a control freak, and it makes me feel in charge! hee hee hee.
Teri... i am sure he will. He is very good with buying "girls" stuff. I even need to take him clothes shopping with me, because i am not too good with that stuff. He has a great "eye". I am the one with the great "hands".

well me thinks ill get steve to sew them...
I want to make a giant one, like a raggedy anne the size of a small child. with all differnt fabric panels.

mr messy fish or the recently dubbed "big messy fish" are all good. i like it when mrs messy fish takes control and then again i like it when she lets me take control, but either way mrs messy fish is in control and i love and support mrs messy fish to the end of this life.
