Good luck - this has never really worked with me, although I admit to being a lot more picky about what I buy - but equally, there's a lot more nice stuff to buy! :-)
hey, why don't you start a 'pass it forward' group....leaving a book at a bus stop, on a train, etc, for someone else to read...with a note inside to say 'pass me on'...? it was done here in london and was fun.
Hey thats a great idea soul, but I am a hoarder, and could not bear to part with a single book of myn. I have a terrible memory, and objects that I hoard have memories for me. I will think about it though, for a few of the books I have!
i am a near 100% library girl. I got sick of spending money on them, and I get sick of all of them building up and me having to dust them. I like giving them back after I've read them! It's just plain wonderful...oh...plus I like how the hardback books crinkle with that clear crackly plastic covering they put on!!!
I have to admit to hoarding books too. Most of them are nonfiction. Even with though I can search for things online, I still find my books useful. Just like you I wouldn't want to part with them if I didn't need too.
Continually telling myself to stop buying things but I seem to go on autopilot when I see artsy fartsy stuff! http://www.1craftymomand2ornerykids.bogspot.com
