Prismacolor Pencils

My test page of 120 Prismacolor pencils! Doesnt look like 120 different colours though...
Another play with blending and coloured pastel paper. These pencils are really smooth and blend easily. Much easier  and more satisfying to work with than my old set of Derwent's.

Very nice....maybe one day, I'll change over from my Derwents to Prismacolours but, at this stage in my art, I only dabble with coloured pencils in my sketchbooks. One day I would love to do more with them. I've heard a lot of artists get frustrated with Prismacolours because they keep breaking when they try to sharpen them....have you found this problem at all?

Im so happy for you that you have treated yourself to the new set of tools that you deserve... you work so hard being a mummy & with the cakes and i hope these pencils that blend more easily and look so lovely give you back the inspiration to draw, blend, draw & create everyday' I love what you've done already!

thanks Mel, thanks Soul!
Serena: yes they break if the sharpener is blunt. Apparently there is a special sharpener for them. I also sharpen with a blade if i need a fine point!

I've not worked with colored pencils or watercolor pencils. They look beautiful. I've done pastels before and loved them, but don't have a set right now.

Very cool. I remember when I first discovered water color crayons I covered everything I did with them.
