I made this black cat from wool felt and hand stitching. This is my first softie where I have not used a pattern... I am starting to get a little more confidant. I prefer to hand sew, and use wool. This much I now know about myself.
Bunnny with a scarf has been needle felted using Australian merino wool. He got the scarf because Mr Messyfish commented on his long neck. I dont think its wise to show him half done projects in future...!
Its a long weekend here, so I dont have to make any cakes untill Monday! What a great opportunity to visit Grandma messyfish...and get some internet and mobile phone reception!! I am in bliss...I also get some baby messyfish free time to blog and read and draw. Thank god for grandmothers... (or mothers in my case)

Your rabbit is so cute! I love the black cat too! Just darling.
Hope you have a great weekend!
I am sure Grandmother is feeling lucky too. Love your bunny and the felix the cat. Well, all of your softies are cute. I think I like bunny best though. Enjoy your freedom.
I love your cute animals. I've never worked with wool felt, it looks so soft and touchable.
All three are adorable! I gave your blog address to a fellow blogger who is interested in making the felted animals...you posted these just in time...I will tell her to come have a look!
Julie sent me a link to your blog--Love the bunny --and the cat! I've just started to play with felted animals myself so she knew I'd be interested. Love the blog!
LOVE the black cat, we have a couple of live "inkspots" (black cats) around the house so we love any of the stuffed version as well. Great job not using a pattern!

I hope you had an awesome weekend with your Mum ~ :)
The little critters are adorable! Are they little child safe? Are you planning to sell them or are you just making them for baby messyfish?
ps my husband comments on my projects before their time too. Sometimes I have to firmly remind him that art is a process. I always appreciate his honesty though
Nice and good looking softies. I like the cat with a amusing expression.
