Creative Everyday with materials and things

I am sorting out my material stash. Most of this has been thrifted and reporposed. I am getting ready to make a whole bunch of those weird softies in time for an art expose in Picton next month.
After reading about it on this blog I have decided to do monthly meal plans and weekly shopping lists. Living in the country has brought some adjustments. Where I used to shop everyday for food, and cook on a whim, I am finding that a 40 min round trip to the shops is taking its toll on our time and our budget. I have already put the plan into action...and its working well. Alot less stressful knowing what to cook and when, and that we have the ingredients that we need.
Day 10 of art everyday month. Lots of thinking and planning going on for me today...

We live close to the grocery so I can imagine how irratiating it was to find yourself so far from the shops. One must plan ahead. I used to do that. It is helpful.

Oh, goodness...I can see how you would have to institute something like this living so far out. I like the idea of having large stashes of stuff so you are always ready though!!! Good luck with your new plan!!! Oh...and good luck with your plushies...please show us your creations before you sell them!!!!! ;)

Great idea, the planning, I loved it and tried it, but for some reason I could not stick to it :-(

Waiting to see what will emerge from the stash!

Sounds like a lot of fun coming your way. I like the mixture of materials and fabrics you have there. I have been rekindling my love for fashion designing and I may go back to creating something beautiful for my day to day wear considering I have so many old wear hanging around. It's good to buy in a bulk, though with paying attention to what you will need for the month as sometimes you buy something that you may not even use. Happy to hear your new plan is on the mend though.

A continuation of a very Happy Creative Every Day Month. :)
