So I think I we have come to a turning point in our relationship. Little messyfish has been participating in my activities with much less "destruction", more focus, and more independence. He has also been playing by himself a lot more, and I have been getting some time during the day to think again. I feel like the hard yards of "attachment parenting" are beginning to pay off.
here is what we did for Art Everyday Month
Add ingredients as instructed (but change them all around to be creative. I used a third buckwheat flour, a third rice flour and a third wheat flour)
Smell and feel all its goodness, (poke it and bash it lots if your frustrated)
glaze with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds
let rise whilst breastfeeding little messyfish to sleep
bake untill late in the night...try not to eat half a loaf to yourself whilst still warm, and roll around in the delicious scent of freshly baked bread in your home. get out that strawberry jam you made earlier...
