Ellie number two

Number two in a planned three. A gift for a kind freind. I enjoy hand sewing softies way more than machine sewing. Those tight corners give me no joy. With the 2nd red one I blanket stitched around the whole thing. I really enjoyed doing it. Think it may be my thing for a while...

I like the strong colors of this elephant. The birthday cake looks delicious.

I own no sewing machine and have been wondering how well softies that are hand sewn hold up. I do know some basic hand stitches.
These are really cute. DO you make your own patterns?

Looved the elephants, particularly the print. Does little messy fish get to play with them?
Do admire your work

I would love to make some softies for my baby and toddler. I'm with Cheryl... Do you make all your own patterns? Or where do you find them?
Happy stitching!
