Dreams...

Elioth Gruner "Spring Frost". 1919.

My favourite Painting in The Art Gallery Of NSW.( Second room on the right, right hand wall by the door way). I make a bee line for it when ever I go there.
I never realized that a dream like this could come true. I am moving to this place (well...almost) with hubby and bubby and maxy to live for a while. We will make a vege garden, have chooks, compost, sew, bake, ride bikes, craft, have woodfire heating and tank water, and live the simple life. I have made a commitment to pursue my artistic talents with passion.
See you all after the move on Friday. (Most likely with many more art works, and alot less dodgy iphone pics)....take care all, and thanks for reading my blog. xxx

You know what I love about connecting with you dear Messy? One of the first things I found out is that we both had the same favourite artwork!!! Do you remember talking about it about 10 years ago? I found it so cool because I have never met anyone else that has such an appreciation of this work! I have found that a lot over the years, when we get together to chat we have those lovely art connections. You were the one who introduced me to my blogging life on the walk from Manly to Balgowlah. Do you remember that?

So, I wish you all the best in your move - dreams really do come true. I can't wait to see your posts about your new life!

Ps. What do you think about Cwy Twombly's boats at the Art Gallery of NSW - Edmond Capon's favourite work?

I love them, and they have taken an almost equal favourite in the gallery for me!

I hope the move is painless and goes smoothly. You are living my dream - to move out to the country and be away from all the noise of the city.
