IF_Equipment

This weeks challenge at illustration friday is "equipment". Our recent move to a small cottage on a 100 acre property had me a little worried that little Messyfish would be out of sorts with the lack of playground equipment in our yard. Being a city girl, little did i know that rivers, cows, paddocks, rusty gates, fallen trees, wombat holes and hills would be more EQUIPMENT than any little boy could need! What a relief! What fun...
I did this using my prismacolors in a visual art dairy. I am playing with colour. I am learning how they work, and getting a little pencil mileage as a warm up to rekindling my art.

This warm up is hot. Quite beautiful. Not to worry about playground equipment. My children grew up in the country. Climbed trees, rode bikes etc. Never had to worry about obesity or bad behavior. You and LMF will do just fine out there. The biggest adjustment to me was that I had to keep my grocery list up to date and think ahead some. This becomes second hand after awhile.

Gorgeous, gorgeous colors! I love the blues and purples in the trees and your happy little livestock up above, too. YAY to your move! It looks so beautiful and peaceful in your new surroundings. Plenty to keep the wee hands busy!
