Finger knitting

We have been baking bread together for a while now, but at our playcircle ( Steiner ) the toddlers "bake" bread. They sit at a table and knead a small piece of bread dough (no nasty pretend strangely coloured playdoh here!). Whilst they play outside the baking fairies take care of it. Then when it's time to go home they put there own piece of bread they made in a little handmade bag that the mums (and dads) make. I am in the process here of finger knitting the handle and stitching it on. For more lovely crafty natural earthy sometimes possibly mostly waldorf inspired stuff see The Magic Onions

I don't think I've done finger-knitting before...is it a form of crochet?

Btw, your handle looks GREAT!

Good to see that you are still creating. I have never heard of finger knitting. I can't knit with needles let alone my fingers.
