5am

My "get out of bed at 9am" baby has turned into a 5am riser suddenly. It's killing me. I was a night owl...
My "no tantrum" baby has also started having full blown full body tantrums.
I suspect it's because I was left with making a decision to stop breast feeding him. Nutritionally he needed this. Emotionally he didn't.
It's excruciating for me too.

Oh dear. My two have always been early risers (4:30 is normal for us, 5:30 is a sleep in) so no sympathy from me there ;) but weaning is hard. A seems to be self-weaning at the moment, only asking for Daddy when he wakes through the night, asking for books before bed, no su-su, and even stopping feeding the other day to ask to go to bed instead of falling asleep on the breast. He's only 19 months, so I'm feeling your pain. I hope you both get through it ok though it is a massive adjustment. Oh on the tanties, they can have some doozies can't they? This too shall pass, this too shall pass. xx

Hang in there it will get better. One of those difficult adjustments in life. Big ((hugs)).
