Cactus Monday

Deja-Vu.
I love these cactus. My last one died, and along with it, the slow death of my participation in "cactus monday" at Teri's Painted Daisy's. I've been looking to get a new one, and was so excited when I saw one at the nursery when visiting with my mum. So it looks like I may just keep my commitment to cactus monday after all, now I have a muse again!
This is also my entry for illustration friday's challenge this week of "Deja-vu". Because, I cant seem to illustrate that concept, but drawing one of these cactus's is most definitely something I've done before!
I did this as quickly as I could. It took about an hour using prismacolor pencils.

We have this lantern cactus at home and it has such a bright colour. Your drawing of it is exactly like it is: with its babies and strange shape.
