Beautiful pumpkins, grown from seed in our vege garden! It's been such a success, that we will double our growing area and get some chooks for the spring. I really want a compost again too, but I've been told that it attracts the mice, which attracts the snakes. They are deadly round here....unfortunately...

well chooks attract them too..so i'm told from the locals u here. i saw a bloody snake up at dampier peninsula bigger around than my leg and longer than our landcruiser!!!!!!!!!!! ;/
It seems so odd to see pumpkins in spring. Of course it is fall in your area. Beautiful pumpkins. It is scary to have poisonous snakes around. Here they are few and far between.
Are chooks chickens???

wonderful and tasty pumpkins, I do love their taste, but omg deadly snakes, that freaks me out.
