unschooling still...

Socializing... Not learning artificial rule based "come children and sit when I clap my hands" based socialization.


A real lunch. On china plates with real glasses for water. With choices. They eat what they need if they are not told there choices are bad, and they learn not to trust there intuition. Children early on learn the consequences of a brocken glass. Little messy fish has only dropped one when he was 11/2. He never drinks out of plastic at home.

What does education often do? It makes a straight-cut ditch of a free, meandering brook.

i walked 5 miles thru snow just to get to walden pond once.
