I picked some vegetable from the garden. They looked so lovely sitting on the kitchen bench waiting to be cooked, so I did a very quick sketch, and coloured it later when baby messyfish was sleeping...
Mummy messyfish was having a "mental health day". It was 42c outside and baby messyfish was teething...
Messyfish decided to let grandma Messyfish mind baby Messyfish, so she could start exercising in order to help improve deteriorating mental health
Messyfish is very angry with Mr Messyfish for going on holidays and leaving her alone with baby...
Messyfish is happy again, after experiencing a gamut of emotions, and realizing that she has to look after herself, and when she does, she feels great!

I love these pages. I could have written them 37 years ago. Ha... Hang in there. Take care of yourself. You know what they say around here?...Nobody is happy unless Momma is happy.

Hi Messyfish! Please do continue to take good care of yourself!!! It is so frustrating taking care of a baby by yourself all alone. I'm glad your Mom helps you out. You really need a few breaks every once in a while!!!

these are wonderful! i loved each and every one. emotive. great bold lines, the compostion is perfect, and i'm guessing it's not deliberate, but instinctive.

good stuff here!
