Suburban Sketcher

I had some lovely time sitting on a blanket in the shade (it was hot today) with baby messyfish. I gave him a pen to chew on, so I could get 5 minutes to do these quick sketches of the chicken coop. I am so frustrated that all the local birds eat the chicken food. I have to fill up there feeder everyday, and its not the chickens that are eating it. I do love the way the food brings all the birds to our garden though! It was so peaceful to sit and watch them. Even lovelier to draw them!

Wonderful sketches and I hope to see more from you. I am a bird lover and I collect stamps on birds too:)

i like the motion in that bottom sketch, especially.

when i feed the birds, i mostly attract the squirrels.

but i still prefer to draw the birds.
