christmas crafting

In an attempt to maintain my handmade pledge, I have started to make my christmas decorations and gifts (some you wont see here because they might be for you!). I am also enjoying buying my craft materials at vinnies (thrift shops). I found the antique threads you see here, in lovely shimmery christmas colours, and some REALLY old button making kits. I am so excited to have made my own covered buttons! (you can see one i did on the green felt stocking) Most of the material I am using is from vinnies too. I love being a tight arse... (hope I am I allowed to say that?)
I am reading A Greener Christmas by Sheherazade Goldsmith  for inspiration

I think making handmade items is so much a part of the Christmas joy. Be sure to show us the completed items.

You are so right. Hand mades are the best. We should do it more. I hope you show some of the ones that aren't for me so I can see them. ;)

My you're really organised for Xmas this year!! Good for you - have fun with it! P.S. I found(and made) a very cute felt mousie pattern for a tree decoration last year - I'll look it out if you're interested!

I always love reeiving homemade presents so I'm sure yours will be very well received. Your stuffed animals are adorable.
