With the art room almost all packed up ready for the big move next week we still have a huge basket of thrifted wool out. Pom poms have been the favourite thong to make. I was thinking about making a mobile with them for the new playroom. But little messyfish loves throwing them around the house too much...

Looks like fun! When I was little, my sisters and I would make scads of these and sell them to our friends. It was a big thing to tie them onto our skate laces, for some reason. :)

Oh how I love a pom pom! Such fun...I think I spent many a childhood hour making those things but never found a use for them...a mobile sounds great! :)
